If you happen to think about the future then one of the last things that comes to mind is a Limo ride, but then it is something that can be seriously considered now. People are coming with various kinds of concept cars for the future that are always clean, green and multi-functional. But rarely have I seen anyone design a limousine for the future! It is still something new and special and I really happen to like the design of this one. It aims at something grand and also something very uniquely spectacular.
The concept of this vehicle is to use it on land as a classic high class sportive limousine and on water as a sailing ship with the same high class impression. The vehicle is both special in design and unique in the fact that it uses sails that come out of the doors when on water to navigate. It is powered by a fuel cell and electric motor under the futuristic hood.
What is interesting to note is that this was a school project promoted by Daimler-Chrysler and it really looks like something that could be true at a point that is not too far in to the future. The concept is truly high-end and it breaks away from the conventional long dark image of a limousine. It truly speaks high of the imaginative thought and creative impulses of the designer!
